My vision

Living abroad is often associated with excitement, good fortune and opportunities, and less so with identity crisis, feeling of not belonging, loss of the community and loneliness. I help clients who migrated forcefully of voluntarily to again feel ground under their feet.

About therapist

Margarita Pakhlova. Existential psychotherapist in training, Psychology student.

Currently, I provide individual psychotherapy online and, on request, in-person in Bogotá, Colombia, volunteer, pursue a second Bachelor degree in Psychology, and continue exploring philosophy. Another passion of mine, alongside psychotherapy, is analogue photography. When photography is enriched by psychotherapeutic values and approaches, the familiar experience of being photographed can become a form of self-exploration - photo therapy. Combining therapy and photography can be especially helpful in working with trauma, self-esteem, and self-image.
