My vision

Living abroad is often associated with excitement, good fortune and opportunities, and less so with identity crisis, feeling of not belonging, loss of the community and loneliness. I help clients who migrated forcefully of voluntarily to again feel ground under their feet.

About me

My name is Margarita Pakhlova, I'm an existential psychotherapist in training and a psychology student, which is my second bachelor degree. Since 2014 I've lived in various foreign cultures, India, Colombia, Thailand, Poland, Lithuania, voluntarily and also as a refugee.

One of my other passions alongside psychotherapy is photography. The latter when enriched with psychotherapeutic values and approach turns a familiar action of being photographed into a self exploring experience - photo therapy. Combining therapy and photography makes it a great tool to work with trauma, self-esteem and self-image.
